undefined _clock$UNIX2003 in 3rd party static lib with xcode 3

I'm building Umbra's dpvs library under xcode 3 as a static library.

When linking the final application against the dpvs library I'm getting an undefined symbol for _clock$UNIX2003. In the dpvs source, it's using clock() from time.h.

It worked fine under xcode 2x and this is a function that is defined in the standard c library. As far as I know, there really shouldn't be an issue with this. Any suggestions? Thanks.
