I locate the helper app in the Bundle using the NSBundle functions and open it using the path.

As to the two projects, you can make one project a depencency of the other, and just copy the helper app in your main project.

Hello all,

I have two existing Cocoa applications (currently as separate projects).

They share a symbiotic relationship, and really should be delivered to the user as a single bundle.

My question is what is the best way to get from here (two separate Xcode projects, that build to two separate app bundles) to there (a single app bundle with one of the applications embedded). I am currently opening one app from the other by using NSWorkspace's launchAppWithBundleIdentifier: and if I just drag the helper app into the main app's resources this fails on a new machine (Launch Services doesn't scan the nested bundle?)

Anyway, I have a feeling that this is a RTFM kind of question, but my Google foo is failing me and I've not been able to find the appropriate FM to RT.

Any help is welcome.
