I appreciate the reply and confirmation that it is working for someone (quite possibly everyone but me ;-) Deleting the model files may be the solution and is why I asked the question. I filed a bug report and heard back from an engineer today so we'll see what the crash reports indicate before going that route since I can live a little longer without editing the models and the apps are working just fine.

On a positive note, enabling GC support was painless and identified and/or corrected at least half a dozen bugs I didn't spot previously, so all in all, Xcode 3 has been a net positive for me as well even factoring in the .0 issues.

Thanks,
Phil

I was just curious if anyone else is having problems with the class/ data model editor causing Xcode 3 to crash? I don't seem to have any luck in getting it to run for more than a few minutes at a time across several different projects when editing models and I'm wondering if the problem is in the modeling tool or if there is some sort of problem/corruption going on with my model files.

Thanks,
Phil

No problem here. I'm actually enjoying the whole Xcode 3.0 experience despite the few bugs it obviously has. Perhaps the way to solve your problem is to delete the old model files, clean up your targets, rebuild and see if that solves the problem.
