Hi, Jim,
The GIMP has worked for me, although for some reason it fails to open
for me under Leopard (maybe it has to do with my hard drive being Case-
Sensitive Journaled, instead of just Journaled.
It's not the most OS X-friendly app, but it works fairly well. Just
make sure that you have a two-button mouse--you'll save yourself a ton
of time, as there are contextual menus for almost everything.
Cheers,
Andrew

Possibly this should be posted in some other mail list.
But, needless to say, most existing app icons look pretty ragged
when they are enlarged to 256x256 in Leopard Quick Look.
So, are there any low cost ways of making these larger icons ? --
i.e. I don't want to buy Photoshop.
Thanks,
Jim Merkel
