Debugging Dependancy checking

I have a project (sub) that is also a part of an Aggregate target in another project (main)

If I do a Clean All on main and then build, then everything builds as expected.

If after doing this, I open up sub and do a build, it also does a full build (of sub) the first time it is built. This is not correct as it has just been built as a part of the build of main. (After the first build of sub, it then behaves normally)

Can anyone think why this might be happening, and is there a way to log Xcode's dependancy info to see why it thinks everything need recompiling?

Thanks

Matt Gough
