Hi folks,

I'm porting an Allegro based game and had it successfully compiling under Tiger. Now I've moved to Leopard and come across a showstopper.

The Allegro project template I'm now using compiles the project as a universal binary by default. I'm now getting the following error on building.

Command /Developer/usr/bin/gcc-4.0 failed with exit code 1

Build log shows the following;

{standard input}:13971:Invalid mnemonic 'int'

Can someone please decipher what this means and perhaps point me in the right direction? I'm very new to xcode and am returning to C programming after some 15 years.

Following the Allegro guidelines I've attempted to build the PPC version using gcc 3.3. The error is the same.
