The Leopard final release, including Xcode 3.0, is now available to ADC members on connect.apple.com for download.

Note that this is a 6.3Gb download, requires a double-layer DVD burner and disc, and requires about 15 hours at currently available download rates.

Does the part about needing a double-layer DVD burner mean that this release, unlike the betas, does not allow you to restore the disk image to a hard drive partition and then install from that?

Restoring the image to an external HD and installing it from there works just fine. Oh, and about Chris' download rates, download completed in about 1.5h here. Dunno what the factors are, though it didn't max out my connection this time.

A big THANK YOU to the Xcode team for release 3.0. This and the new IB are much welcome upgrades.
