That isn't the same problem as the gcov one, though it's the same problem I was having earlier; I thought I'd mentioned it in my original post on this thread, but apparently I edited that bit out when I realised it wasn't relevant. It's caused by the 10.4u SDK having a symlink from /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk/usr/local/lib to /usr/local/lib.


If you remove the symlink, the problems building apps when libtiff is in your /usr/local/lib should go away. If you need libtiff for your 10.4 app, you need to build it against the 10.4u SDK.
