broken ref lib: java api lookup fails in 2.5 on tiger

Comrades,

I am desperate. I have been coding without the Java API lookup for weeks and am going nuts.

What is the correct way to get the Java API lookup working for Xcode 2.5 running on a PowerBook with Tiger 10.4.11? I have tried un/re-installing Xcode 2.5, and installing the JavaForMacOSX10.4Release6Documentation package, but it is still broken.

I posted a message to the list a month or so back, when I thought I had fixed my problems with the Java API lookup. Turned out I had not gotten it work (it won't do any lookups), it is just that it will now at least launch the ref lib, and appears to have "gotten close" to finding the desired api. However, I can't get it to actually get to the api reference anymore.

Tiger 10.4.11
Xcode 2.5
(until convinced that Leopard + Xcode 3 won't leave me stranded)
