So - any of you based in High Wycombe, Bucks, England and ok with me popping
round with a problem ? Its not something I can easily just post here, since
a glance at my setup , project paths etc would probably be needed.

Dan, if you're running Leopard and have a reasonable Internet connection, I've found that iChat Screen Sharing is an effective way to diagnose and debug problems without physical presence or file transfers. You may just want to ask if anybody would help you, once you characterize the problem in a little more detail.
