Publications on this topic appear to be rare at the moment.

I'm looking for a web resource which goes over the basics of getting started. A basic hello world. Getting started wit interface builder, sample projects, etc.

I've tried the built-in guide, for a HelloWorld - but I'm over looking some basics, and so is the guide apparently.

Pointers in the right direction would be appreciated!

Open Xcode 3.

If the Xcode News window doesn't open, choose Xcode News from the Help menu.

Click the "Getting Startef" tab and look for the "Xcode Quick Tour Guide"

More Getting Started information is at http://developer.apple.com/referencelibrary/GettingStarted/GS_Tools/index.html
