Ok,
Next step is to check your target settings. Maybe your target's architecture settings override the project settings.

Thanks for the response.  On the ppc, it doesn’t crash, it just won’t open on that machine, saying it wasn’t built for it.  It runs fine on my intel machine.

Hello,

I’m having trouble getting my app to work on ppc.  (I’m building on an intel mac.)

I followed the instructions I found here:

http://developer.apple.com/documentation/MacOSX/Conceptual/universal_binary/universal_binary_compiling/chapter_2_section_3.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40002217-CH206- TPXREF141

In the project settings, I switched the SDK to “Mac 10.4 (Universal)”, and for “Architectures” I clicked both.  My app has other embedded xcode projects, and I did the same for all of them.  I did a total clean, rebuilt, and it still won’t run on my ppc test machine.

What am I missing?  I’m sooo close to being finished, any advice appreciated!

Thanks,

Michelle

Maybe checking the Console.app and Crash logs may give you some clues. Without any info about the error you get, it's hard to help you.
