newbie NSLog question

  • Subject: newbie NSLog question
  • From: "Larry White" <email@hidden>

I'm trying to use NSLog as a debugging aid.

I have statements that look like this:  NSLog(@"test the logging");

I would have expected to see the output in the debugging console but it doesn't show up.

I've tried a couple references and haven't found anything helpful.  I'm working with the iPhone sdk beta 3 and xCode 3.1 Beta.

Any help would be really appreciated.

thanks.
