Rainbow spins forever when Find in Xcode3

Hi,
I'm really in trouble because Find In Project brings rainbow circling
for a long time.
So far the command had surely worked fine until yesterday, but somehow
it became not to work today.
The same project as yesterday was opened today.
For instance, you type 'NSNumber' and press return, so far it had
shown two lines about its header file name and the definition.
But from today the rainbow cursor was spinning for a long time and
nothing was shown in the list.
The cursor seems to spin forever and Xcode doesn't respond to any
keyboard and mouse events.
I'd very appreciate it if you tell me what I'm missing.
