Window Layouts

  • Subject: Window Layouts

I've been looking through xcode docs and haven't found anything on
many window arrangements. I've seen plenty on project window
configuration though. What I'm looking for is an automatic way to
support the several modes I work in. They main ones are:

1) Source comparison
2) Single file editing
3) debugging

For each of these different modes, I require very different window
layouts. For example, when comparing 2 files I want each file in its
own window each taking up a vertical half of the screen. I would be
really nice to be able to specify a key binding and have the 2 windows
(say the topmost source windows) fall into this layout. Is this at
all possible?

thanks,
wes
