Hi,

i am just making my way through the dev docus, but it's rather hard :-)
for example theres this method:
– writeToFile:withAttributes:error:

withAttributes wants a dictionary... fine.. no problem.
but where the heck is documented what to put into the dictionary?! where are all the parameters?

i just dont get this docu :-)

I followed the link above, and the discussion said to look at "-writeToFile:WithAttributes:", because except for allowing an error return object, it works the same way.

In the docs for "-writeToFile:withAttributes:", I see this: "If the dictionary attributes contains an object whose key is QTMovieFlatten, then the movie is flattened into the specified file." Following the QTMovieFlatten link, it says "The movie flatten setting; the value for this key is of type NSNumber, interpreted as a BOOL."

Naturally, there are more keys and their associated types - just follow the links.
