Argument list too long

I'm checking out Xcode 3.1 to see if it will be a usable version, or if we still need to stick with 2.5. Upon building our project, it ran into this error and stopped:

Checking Dependencies
Argument list too long: recursive header expansion failed at / Applications/Creator Professional 8.0.2/MultiAd Creator Pro.app/ Contents/Resources/Help Files/Document_Layout/Basic_Concepts/ Using_contextual_menus/Contextual_menus_in_Mac_OS.

Sadly, that's all it says about it in the build transcript - not enough detail for me to track anything down. I don't know where it's getting /Applications/Creator Professional 8.0.2/. That folder does exist, but it should not be used or referred to in the project. Xcode must be finding some file in that location. There are certainly no header files in that folder. Or is Xcode somehow connecting with the Help system? That would explain why it's finding the help folder in that location. Also, that seems like a pretty short max length for a argument list.
