GuardMalloc problem

When I run with GuardMalloc i et this message:

GuardMalloc[JES Video Cleaner-7450]: Failed to VM allocate 22374400 bytes GuardMalloc[JES Video Cleaner-7450]: Explicitly trapping into debugger!!!

So I add the MALLOC_PERMIT_INSANE_REQUESTS variable to my executable in the Info panel. If I leave the value blank I see this in the console: Setting environment variable "MALLOC_PERMIT_INSANE_REQUESTS" to null value. If I set it to 1 nothing is printed and the debugger still freaks out at large memory allocations.

So now I am out of ideas. What am I doing wrong?
