How do you link to a framework?

I could use a a step by step instruction on how to link to a framework. I cant' find any documentation anywhere on the how to do it. I find plenty of places in the documentation that tell me I must link my frameworks but nothing about how to actually do it. I would like to link to CoreMIDI and CoreAudio. Sorry for the stupid question -- but help would be greatly appreciated.

Brian
