It sounds like Dharmendra is still using IB 2.x. In that version, to
switch the document window to outline mode, there is a toggle button
at the top end of the vertical scroller in the icon view.

TableView, otherwise it selects the ScrollView. And also while
linking the controller, a fine pointing is required otherwise it
selects the TableColumnView etc
