If someone provides you with a doc set, you can copy it to any
directory listed in the Xcode Documentation preferences (and you can
add a directory to the preferences if you wish); Xcode will then find
the doc set and load it.
If you have multiple versions of the same doc set installed in various
directories, Xcode will load the latest version.

I see that there's another update of documentation for Xcode, at
least Core Reference Library and Developer Tools Reference Library.
Having downloaded the last set, which was something around 586 Mb,
at 22.5c/Mb, I am not too keen to do it again (I'm in Papua New
Guinea, which doesn't have good internet access).
Is there a way that I can get a friend in another country to
download the update for me, and send it to me on a CD? That used to
be possible, at least, but the latest documentation on the ADC site
is December 2007, and the new system doesn't seem to show up
anywhere else than within Xcode.
