No, unfortunately I do not know how to achieve your goal. I just want to second you that this is a very desirable feature. I would appreciate it if you could keep me updated in case you find a solution.

I like the way frameworks group code and related resources, package them up for distribution, and enforce encapsulation by making it clear where the framework ends and the client application begins.
