I have some localized files which I'm trying to add to a new framework project and localize "the Xcode way".

Example: I have a "Localizable.strings" file which is contained in a "en.lproj" directory, which I created, which is in the project directory. When I drag it into Groups & Files, Xcode automatically "makes it localizable", and adds a "en" child.

According to Xcode User Guide, when I Get Info on this Localizable.strings, click "Add Localization" button, type in "de" and click "Add", "Xcode...copies the development locale’s version of the files to the new locale’ss .lproj folder." But in fact, nothing happens. I can't find any definition of "the new locale'ss .lproj folder", but anyhow what I need is for it to show up in Groups & Files so that it can be copied during a Copy Files Build Phase.

Maybe a screenshot will help you someone what I might be doing wrong...

It looks like you're trying to do it the right way.

Have you tried with "German" instead of "de"?

Would there be a log error in Console.app when it does not work?

In Xcode 3.0, the more modern country codes are still not recognized, but the older human readable style names (like "German") should still work.
