Three button segmented page control preference in Xcode 3.0

Just starting to get into Xcode 3.0 and I've noticed something small that I can't find an answer for. In Xcode 2.x I had a segmented control in the upper left that was divided into three parts as part of the "All-in-one" preference layout. (The Page segmented control)
Now in Xcode 3.x is is reduced to a segmented control that is divided into two parts.
When I open a project in Xcode 3.x that I started in Xcode 2.x, the triple segmented control comes back. But if I start a project in 3.x it will remain doubly divided. There doesn't seem to be anything in General Preferences nor as part of the customize toolbar options.
How do I get my Xcode 3.x segmented control back to a triple division on native 3.x projects like I had in the old days.
