Just a tips that can be usefull later. The build number come from
SystemVersion.plist, so just ask pkgutil where it come from ;-)
Look like the recent time machine update is the last one that touched
it.
pkgutil --file-info /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist

I just noticed that my Xcode is no longer distributing builds to
other Macs (all running 10.5.2). I guess it is doing this as I have
a Mac OS X build number of 9C7010, whilst everyone else is on 9C31.
I suspect that one of the recent software/security updates bumped up
the build number, but I don't want to force everyone else to install
everything just so I can distribute again.
Does anyone know which specific update caused the change in build
numbers, and what are the minimum updates needed to get distributed
build in sync again.
Matt
P.S If anyone would like to share the reasoning for the 7010 as
opposed to a minor 2 digit change then I'd love to know.
