IB Deployment Target

Folks;

I am new to XC3 so forgive me..

When I open a document in IB, in the toolbar at the top there is a ViewMode and an Info tool. Using the info tool allows you to set the deplyment target.

These settings do NOT appear to stay. If I change and then Save and Close and then re-open the document, the deplyment target is reset to 10.5 (which is NOT even the deployment target of the project).

What am I not understanding correctly?
