How can I switch active configuration in XCode project? I have
'Debug', and 'Release' but the Active is always set to 'Debug'. How
can I switch it to 'Release'?
I google and find this line, but I am using xcode 3.1, so that tip in
the link below does not work.
http://www.meandmark.com/xcodetips.html

Project > Set Active Configuration > Release

Hint: In Xcode's Help menu, type "Configuration" into the Search bubble and you can see all the menu items that involve configurations.

To make it easier in the future, you can add the configuration drop-down to the toolbar.  Under the View menu, select "Customize Toolbar...", and then drag the "Active Build Configuration" item to the toolbar wherever you want it to sit. Then you can switch configurations using the drop-down, which I find more convenient.
