Xib "Clipping Content" Bug?

I have a small square gradient button and any time I add an image I get the warning "this view is clipping its content" at compilation (not reported by IB). I can expand the button to ten times the size of the image, but the warning never goes away unless I remove the image entirely. Is this a known bug? Does anyone know a workaround?
