Xcode 2.5 Quandry

  • Subject: Xcode 2.5 Quandry

I have a large AppleScript studio project I develop on Leopard, but have to compile on Tiger, due to a bug that was *never* fixed since 10.5.0! However, it appears that when scripts get to be a certain length, Xcode 2.5 chokes on the AppleScript line break character "¬" and fails. The only way I've been able to work around it is to manually delete the "¬" character - using search and replace leaves the line breaks (and the errors).

So, how would I search and replace the "¬" and the return, leaving only a single blank space? I haven't been able to figure out this one myself.
