It appears there is a limit of 4 (separate) editors open at a time. Opening a fifth file switches one of open editors from the file it was showing to the file I am opening, instead of opening a new editor. Is this expected behavior? Is there a way to raise the limit? This is really annoying because I often have more than four files that I am editing and need to go back-and-forth between them regularly.
Huh strange... no such limit exists to my knowledge. I often have 10s of source windows open at a time in Xcode.
What layout do you have selected in Xcode preference on the General tab?
