Hi all,
I've recently moved to Leopard and Xcode 3.1.3. I'm editing some C++
code, but my code completions don't seem to work. I've checked the
Preferences pane, and tried setting completions to appear Immediately,
or after various Delay settings, but I never get any code completions
popping up, no matter what settings I choose.
After typing in an object name and the trailing period, or a pointer
name and the trailing arrow, shouldn't a list of completions (member
names) pop up?
I've tried using the control-menu at that point, selecting Completion
List, and double-clicking on the member I want to select, but doing so
inserts a carriage-return before entering the function or member name
I want.
Is this broken in 3.1.3? Or is there some setting I'm missing
somewhere that will fix this? I really miss having code completion.
As it is, I need to go to the header file and copy and paste the
member name I need (to avoid misspelling or capitalization errors).
Not fun!
Thanks,
-Howard
