I should probably have been clearer about this.
Bugs should first and foremost be reported to bugreport.apple.com. I
consider it a service to the community to duplicate them to
openradar.appspot.com, but it is not necessary (and indeed, could be
considered harmful if people think that the existence of a similar
report means they don't have to file one -- clearly the concept of
reporting-as-voting escaped the OP).
The OP's "WTF?" attitude inclined me to a rather sarcastic response,
which wouldn't have worked if I'd said "I couldn't find it on
bugreport.apple.com", since I don't have access to that database ;)
To reiterate: I wouldn't judge anyone for not posting to openradar,
but I do consider the OP's "It's obvious to me, so Apple should have
implemented it already" attitude unuseful.
