Show-stopper Xcode hang in Snow Leopard

I installed Snow Leopard, and then installed Xcode using the package installer on the Snow Leopard DVD.

Now whenever I select "Add to Project" on the "Project" menu, Xcode hangs.

Has anyone else seen this happen? If so, have you found a work-around?
