Chris, & all,

I opened Xcode directly from /Developer/Applications/Xcode, and now it is able to open my projects. In fact, it remembered and presented my recent projects, must be getting that from some ~/.xcode place. And now, the file association is there, I can click on any xxx.xcodeproj and away we go. Strange, I don't remember needing to "kickstart" the Xcode app assocaition like that at 3.1. I've done a fresh 10.6 install, and dragged across my home account from the Leopard backup drive with Migration Assistant, maybe we transited a straneg state where the Xcode 3.2 install didn't quite know what needed to be done.

Thanks !

GE.

Dumb as dumb question .. I've installed a fresh Snow Leopard, and Xcode 3.2, but now can't invoke Xcode on my projects. The files someProject.xcodeproj now behave as plain folders, clickng on them just opens them as per a normal folder. They don't have the Xcode icon either. it's like the core Xcode app didn;t get installed, or the file association didn't get done.

Can you launch Xcode 3.2 from /Developer?

Can you drag and drop the .xcodeproj projects onto the Xcode icon, either in the Finder or the Dock?

Chris
