As an aside, it seems to me that the removal of the E&W smart group
seems to contradict the Xcode workflow I was used to.
Is there really no way to see the build results without opening a new
window?

results panel so small that you can't see the results - in fact you
can make it so small that it even covers up the tab control.
To be fair, you can show it again by using the Build Results menu
item, but still it shouldn't be able to be shrunk so small it
disappears, IMHO.
