Getting multiple definitions link error in XCode 2.4.1

  • Thread-topic: Getting multiple definitions link error in XCode 2.4.1

We have a project that builds and links fine on XCode 3.1.1.  I have a bug that’s reported on Tiger so I’ve rebuilt all of our projects in XCode 2.4.1 on a Tiger machine.  Now, I get a linker error that there are multiple definitions of the same symbol.  This is true, we redefine some symbols in debug with a memory analysis tool.  I don’t know why XCode 3.1.1 would build fine but XCode 2.4.1 would not.  Is there a way to get it to link correctly in XCode 2.4.1?  I really don’t want to have to try the remote debugging since I’m about 99.9% there on XCode 2.4.1 L

Thanks,

-Mike
