OK, it failed on first try after Xcode restart, but worked on retry. Looks good now.

Please try restarting Xcode and let me know if it doesn't work then.

The authentication has definitely been removed, so after Xcode is restarted to clear up any cached info, any installation problems are likely to be something else.

Both the iPhone 3.0 and Developer Tools doc sets should be publicly available now, not requiring an ADC login.

I am now able to download iPhone 3.0, but Xcode 3.1 Developer Tools still fails as before. I have checked my connect.apple.com key, and the information (including password) is correct.

There's nothing in my keychain that mentions "adc". What's the actual name of the key I should be looking for? For that matter, why does it work for one doc set and not the other?

connect.apple.com would be the key, but this is really a server configuration problem we need to fix. It should be addressed tomorrow (Thursday).

Is this what is causing failures when Xcode 3.1.3 Documentation Viewer attempts to update Doc Sets for Apple Xcode 3.1 and Apple iPhone OS 3.0? I'm getting the following warning for each of these (other Doc Sets update OK):

Failed to download documentation package for Developer Tools Library
Access denied for download. Check that your account name and password (possibly stored in your keychain)
are correct and still valid for the server.

No, this is a server-side problem with the ADC authentication server, or your credentials were not entered correctly (but are stored in your keychain). Try looking in the keychain and deleting any stored passwords for ADC.

I'm having the exact same problem. The "Mac OS Core Leopard Library" doc set in "Apple Mac OS X 10.5" updated just fine after the 3.1.3 install, but the "Developer Tools" doc set in "Apple Xcode 3.1" failed with the access-denied error.
