You shouldn't have even mentioned it, in point of fact :).

Jailbreaking is (VERY) dangerous for your phone, and anything you succesfully run on a jailbroken phone WILL NOT WORK on a normal phone. Not to mention that jailbreaking is against *at least* one terms of service agreement (whether it's of the phone itself, or your carrier, or the iPhone SDK, or your ADC Online account) and you'll have a harder time joining the developer program legitimately later.

Either pay the money to Apple, or content yourself with the Simulator.
