unrecognized command line option "-Wno-long-double" in XCode 3.2 on Snow Leopard

I have just upgraded from 10.5 to 10.6 and to XCode 3.2.
When now trying to build a project (that compiled just fine before) I get the following error message from gcc:
unrecognized command line option "-Wno-long-double"
Any ideas if and why this option might have gone in gcc 4.2.1 and a possible solution to this?
Thank you,
-D
