Sorry if that was ambiguous. The target app crashes - almost
immediately.
Do not collect $200, do not pass Go.
Try it yourself. Crash the Finder (it starts right up again).
Create a Finder window with a scroll bar on the right. Make sure it's
an active window. Use UIElementInspector to get information about the
thumb. You won't be able to because the Finder will be gone. Careful,
though; if you move that pointer over the scroll bar of an important
app it may also go away. CodeWarrior is one such. Carbon apps in
general.
All of which would be more amusing than nuisance except for the wee
problem that it affects the app I'm working on.
