Erich, I think you've identified the issue. Under Classic I see it launch
and immediately close again. I just tried running it under OS X and it
presents a dialog saying my app has unexpectedly quit with the message
">>CarbonLib<< (-2880)".
I'll try your suggestion to use GetSharedLibrary(). I think we're willing
to live with the "front application only" limitation of PPostEvent, my guess
is that most of our users will be migrating to OS X in the next year or so
this is hopefully only a temporary situation.
