There are security issues. It would be very simple to write a trojan horse

I was careful to say there were no "unusual" security issues, because the
trojan horse potential seems to me to be no worse than that posed by
AppleScript. On my AppleScript Sourcebook Web site I maintain a list of
AppleScript trojan horse incidents that have come to my attention, and the
list is extremely short -- and as I recall, the last entry is a few years
old.
