File reference of frontmost window

Hi all,
I am developing a carbon application, in which I have to extract file
reference of the frontmost window of any third party application, in my
application. Even though I was managed to get the file reference for
document windows from the AxDocument attribute of the frontmost window using
the Accessiblity API. I was unable to do this for non document frontmost
window of the third party application. Is there any way to acheive this?
