There was a known issue with the Accessibility APIs pre-10.3 that
prevented them working with Excel. I am guessing that the same issue
affected Freehand and DreamWeaver, but I don't use those so never saw
it. 10.3 fixed it for Excel.
Are you asking this because XPress suffers the same problem? If you
are, then a better question would be 'Why don't my application's
windows show up via Accessibility'
