Accessibility problems on 10.2

The application I am working on works fine on 10.3
(accessibility-wise), but on 10.2 it's completely broken. Spoken UI
doesn't speak; when I try using HIElementInspector the windows of my
app are completely ignored (and HIEI shows me information for whatever
is behind my own windows); PreFab UI Browser can't show me the
accessibility hierarchy for my app.
Other apps seem to be doing just fine, both Cocoa and Carbon.
Any idea what might be causing this and how I might debug it?
Thanks,
meeroh
