I'm new to the world of Cocoa and Objective-C,
although I'm
a seasoned Java/C developer. I would like to write a
small
minimized window manager (i.e. The Dock, DragThing,
FVWMWinList, etc.). The problem is, I'm not really
sure where
to start.
I've gone through some Cocoa tutorials and I think I
understand
how things work in OS X but I haven't been able to
figure out
how to get to them programmatically. Accessibility
seems to be
the framework I need, but I'm not sure. As a quick
test, I used
UIElementInspector to poke around Finder and The Dock
hoping
to see the elements related to minimized windows.
Can anyone give me a hand and point me in the right
direction?
Joe.
