Using the accessibility API, it seems I can in many cases determine what
object has keyboard focus. Usually, but not always, this will be a text area
in app window where the user sets fonts, in other words, a word processing
app's typing area.
I would like to know what font is active for the next typed character. From
what I can see there are no attributes whatsoever for font information. Am I
missing something?
It seems I can be notified when a menu item is selected and if an app has a
font menu, I could find the font in this way, but it won't work unless the
user choose a font or if the program uses the OS's common font browser. Is
there a way to know what selection the user makes from the font browser?
