Hi, can anybody tell me the name of a third party application that
was used as an example at Apple's WWDC, of how assistive
technologies can be used in other interesting ways. I think it was
shown at the Student Sunday and/or during the state of the nation
session. The application was a screen capture utility, but it used
the voice over technology to capture text versions of apple 'events'
and place them in a sequenced list of steps, next to the screen
captures. Instant step-through tutorials!
I believe it was not a third part app, but an Apple technology demo.
As far as I remember, It did not capture text versions of Apple
events, but used the Accessibility API to obtain information about
what it was capturing. If I am right and it was an Apple technology
demo you might want to pick up the idea yourself and create your own
third party app that does something like this...
BTW, it is state of the union, not state of the nation :-)
