Hi All,
What I am trying to do, since I can not do this with AppleScript is
find a way to get the position's of the Desktop Icons (AXFinderItems)
and move them to a different position, or maybe to a different folder.
Through Applescript when you get the Icon position it gives you the
position in the Desktop Folder window, not the position on the Desktop
itself. So I was hoping that with the Accessibility API's I could get
the correct Icon position. Now I can move these icons (files) to a
different folder, but when I want to move them back I don't know how to
put them in the same position that they where in originally. I have
found info on doing UI scripting but I can't seem to figure out through
the docs if this is possible with UI Scripting. If this has been asked
before please accept my apology, I have searched through the archives
but can not find anything on this.
Thanks,
Scott Mitchell
