UI Scripting Cocoa window in Carbon app

Hi:

I've noticed that UI Scripting is not possible when trying to script a Cocoa window living inside a Carbon application. (The window is there but doesn't have any accessible elements.)

Is anyone familiar with this problem or know a way around it?
